Kimchi for a cause
Women, including immigrants, farmers and housewives, gather together to make kimchi in the backyard of the South Chungcheong branch of the National Agricultural Cooperative Federation office in central Daejeon yesterday as part of kimjang, or kimchi-making season. Some 10,000 kilograms (22,046 pounds) of kimchi made that day were donated to single senior citizens in South Chungcheong. [YONHAP]
