Frigid measures
A sign at an E-Mart in Yongsan District, central Seoul, states that the government is capping the internal temperature of discount stores, department stores and airports at 20 degrees Celsius (68 Fahrenheit). The state-run Korea Energy Management Corporation is set to enforce an energy consumption restriction measure starting today to be valid until Feb. 22 next year in a move to stabilize energy supply during winter.
