Until Saturday: The buffet restaurant at the Grand Hilton Seoul is featuring a special food promotion with Vietnamese guest chefs Tuan Ninh and Duong Van Chung, invited by the Vietnamese Embassy in Seoul.
The two chefs will introduce special menus such as Hanoi beef noodles, a Nam Bo roll dish, shrimp in coconut milk sauce and pork wrapped with pepper leaves.
Along with authentic Vietnamese cuisine, there will be milder versions of Vietnamese food for those who are not accustomed to strong spices.
Guests can also have other various international dishes ranging from Asian to Western cuisines. Lunch is 60,000 won ($55) and dinner is 68,000 inclusive of tax and service charge.

Dec. 15, 22: On the two Saturdays before Christmas, JW Marriott Seoul is holding gingerbread house cooking classes for children, taught by professional pastry chef Shin Tae-wha.
During the three-hour classes, teams composed of parents and one child will learn how to build a gingerbread house with icing and decorations. Children can take the completed gingerbread house home.
The gingerbread house classes start at 11 a.m. and are priced at 90,000 won per team, excluding tax and service charges. Cookies and soft drinks will be provided for participants during the classes. Advance reservations are required.

Dec. 22-24, Dec. 29-31: The Plaza introduces its Christmas & New Year packages called “So Lovely Night” for six days.
A package includes one night in a Premier Suite and in-room dining and is going for 430,000 won. Another package includes a dinner at Xystum House on the 22nd floor of the hotel and one night in a Premier Suite. The package with dining is only available on the 24th (550,000 won) and the 31st (500,000 won) this month excluding tax and service charge.
Dining at the Xystum House will be accompanied by live jazz music and a Western course set with eight dishes, as well as a glass of wine.
