Standard Chartered sticks with CEO

Richard Hill was reappointed as the CEO of Standard Chartered Korea for another term of three years at a meeting of the board of directors yesterday. Hill joined the Korean operation of the British banking giant in January 2008 as its executive vice president and was appointed CEO in December 2009.

Hill, who is known for his language skills and presentations in fluent Korean,?will be?the first CEO to be reappointed since Standard Chartered integrated with Korea First Bank in 2005, the bank said. His new term begins on Dec. 17.
