Santa stroll
About 3,000 people dressed in Santa costumes do warm-up exercises before their five-kilometer (3.1-mile) walk at the Santa Sports Festival on Saturday at Olympic Park in southern Seoul. The participants each paid 10,000 won ($9.25) to participate in the event to raise funds for a scholarship for young athletes. This year’s event was the seventh of its kind. [YONHAP]
