CN Blue’s latest Japanese release “Robot” has sold a whopping 42,563 copies upon release and has become the second-most-sold single on the Oricon weekly chart on Christmas Day.
This isn’t the first time that a song of the group’s has reached the top 5 just minutes after being released.
The group’s last album “Code Name Blue” was first on the Oricon daily chart for two days consecutive when it was launched back in August.
The group’s second single in Japan “Where You Are” also set the new record for being No. 1 on the weekly singles chart, a first for a foreign group in 41 years.
