Korean Air to add 9 aircraft to fleet including 2 Airbus A380s

Korean Air, the nation’s flagship, said yesterday it will introduce two Airbus A380 passenger jets and seven other aircraft this year as part of its efforts to be more competitive.
The airline said an Airbus A380 passenger jet will be delivered around the middle of the year, raising its superjumbo fleet to eight.

The seven other aircraft include an A330-200, two B777-300ERs and two B737-900ER passenger jets, as well as two cargo planes - a B747-8F and B777F. Its total fleet now encompasses 148 planes.
