New tech from Hyundai unit can auto-adjust car lightsHyundai Mobis, the nation’s?largest?manufacturer of automobile parts, said yesterday it has developed an active intelligent lighting system (AILS), marking a new first among local companies.
The system adjusts the front head lamp of a vehicle automatically after receiving information from the car’s navigation system. It can read road conditions in advance and modify the angle of the lights accordingly at bends in the road.
