A dancing ink wash

This ink painting, titled “Psy 12,” was inspired by Psy’s horse dance and is part of Chang-woo Seok’s solo show, which runs until March 8 at La Galerie de l’Entrepot in Paris. Seok, 57, is well known for ink works that straddle the line between paintings and calligraphy. The artist lost his arms in an accident at the age of 29 and relies on prosthetics but has overcome the disability. He has held 35 solo shows and participated in more than 200 group exhibitions. In the Paris exhibition, he presents 32 pieces, and on Feb. 6, he will give viewers at the gallery a painting demonstration. Provided by the artist
