Turismo turns heads

Ssangyong Motor’s Korando Turismo was introduced yesterday at the Seoul Trade Exhibition & Convention Center in Daechi-dong, southern Seoul. The automaker said it invested 180 billion won ($165 million) over 30 months to develop the 11-seat vehicle. The successor of the Rodius is equipped with an e-XDi200 low-end torque engine that can produce 155 horsepower with 36.7 kilogram-meters of torque. The model will be available in luxury, grand and royal trim levels and priced from 24.8 million won ($22,804) to 35.64 million won. Ssangyong expects to sell 10,000 vehicles this year. [NEWSIS]
