Posco starts constructing two auto steel centers in Mexico

Posco, Korea’s leading steelmaker, said yesterday it has started construction work on two auto steel sheet-processing centers in Mexico.

Posco-Mexico Aguascalientes Processing Center, scheduled to be completed by September, will provide steel sheets to auto parts suppliers. The company also said it will complete Posco-Mexico Puebla Processing Center by October.

The two centers will provide a toehold for the company in North America, according to Posco. Yonhap
