[Sponsored Report] IBK offers savings plans with plenty of benefits

To temper the uncertain economic times, Industrial Bank of Korea, or IBK, is launching an “Altteulsaltteul Free Installment Savings” plan for patrons who are keen on saving painlessly.

One feature of the ambitious product allows its card users to save little by little at each transaction. They can catch two birds with one stone as they are entitled to benefits like an income tax deduction as well as preferential interest rates on the installment savings.

A variety options for the savings amount is available, including a change option in which a change occurring after a debit card transaction will be transferred. Furthermore, a fixed amount savings option is available where the selected amount will be transferred to the account each time a debit card transaction is made.

Another remarkable feature of the savings product is that customers can make a deposit of an additional 1 million won ($925) a month for savings and enjoy preferential interest rates up to 3.5 percent per annum.

Also, if a customer opens a savings account through smart banking or Internet banking, the account holder can receive an additional 0.1 percentage point in return rates.

An IBK executive said, “Altteulsaltteul savings plan is a helpful product that allows our consumers to save while enjoying several benefits.”
