Huh Chang-soo unanimously voted back in as head of FKIHuh Chang-soo, the chief of energy and construction giant GS Group, was re-elected chairman of the Federation of Korean Industries (FKI) at its regular meeting yesterday.
The unanimous decision came three days after Huh accepted renomination by the board of Korea’s most powerful business lobby.
The FKI speaks for about 500 members, including Samsung Electronics.
He called for fellow business leaders to expand investment and create jobs, pledging that the business lobby will also do its part for economic growth, according to the FKI.
The FKI also vowed to make efforts to spur exports and domestic consumption, while expanding social contributions.
