Hyundai Motor cuts prices on the i40 and i30 modelsHyundai Motor launched the 2013 models of its i40 and i30 cars today at lower prices than previous models.
The top automaker said yesterday the price of the i40 Younique will be reduced by 50,000 won ($45) and 250,000 won compared to the previous i40 Smart model.
An i40 Younique sedan is priced at 25 million won, while the wagon is 26 million won.
“Price competitiveness is the key factor of the newly launched i40 model,” the company said.
Hyundai Motor also cut the prices of two i30 models. The i30 Younique will be 250,000 won cheaper than the previous i30 Unique model.
The sticker price is 18.2 million won. The Premium Younique Lifestyle, or PYL, i30 is launched at a price of 18.9 million won, about 1 million won lower than the previous model. The automaker earlier cut the prices of five models including the Genesis and Sonata.
