FM calls for U.S. congressional support over negotiations on nuclear accord
South Korean Foreign Minister Yun Byung-se asked for U.S. congressional support for the two countries to reach a smooth solution in negotiations to rewrite an expiring bilateral nuclear accord, the ministry said Saturday.Yun made the remark when he met with Bob Corker, the top Republican on the U.S. Senate Foreign Relations Committee, on Friday, saying he hopes the two governments will work out an agreement based on their "trust," according to the ministry.
