Nepali Ambassador to Seoul Kaman Singh Lama, left, taps a drum at the opening ceremony of the Korea International Cooperation Agency’s six-month exhibition celebrating three South Asian countries in Seongnam, Gyeonggi, yesterday. The ceremony was attended by 300 guests including, starting with second from left, Second Vice Foreign Minister Cho Tae-yul, Koica’s honorary ambassadors soccer player Song Jong-kook and singer Narsha, Venerable Seongwon and Koica President Park Dae-won. Koica Global Village’s seventh exhibition, “Udumbara: Blossom in the Global Village” which runs until October celebrates the culture and history of Nepal, Myanmar and Sri Lanka.
