LSIS wins $45.8M order to build energy facility in Iraq
LS Industrial Systems (LSIS) said it has won a $45.8 million order from Iraq to build a Gas Insulated Switchgear (GIS) facility.The GIS facility converts and distributes high-voltage power for household and factory use.
LSIS will set up two GIS facilities in Baghdad and one each in Mosul, the second-largest city in northern Iraq, and Karbala, southwest of Baghdad.
Since 2011, LSIS has won orders worth $292 million in the power-convertor business.
