Saudi Arabia subcontracts visa services

The Saudi Arabian Embassy in Seoul announced on April 4 that the the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs has revamped visa services by signing a deal with VFS Tasheel Company, a global outsourcing and technology services business.

A handful of designated travel agencies formerly carried out visa-related tasks prior to the opening of the new center Friday. The major role of the new outsourcing center includes registration of biometric information, including fingerprints and photos, and related matters for those applying to visit the Middle Eastern country.

The visa center is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays and is located at Hanmi Building No. 702, Gongpyung-dong, Jongno District, central Seoul.
