“Even though I’m an employee of a broadcasting company, it’s my first time being in front of so many reporters, so I’m the one trembling while the bride seems confident,” said the groom yesterday.
“I will do my best to have the nationally popular singer live with a happy smile from now on.”
The bride showed her excitement at the press conference.
“I thought I had enough time before the wedding after I had a press conference announcing the wedding, but time really flew,” said Jang.
“I slept very well and am feeling good. I should have gone to get some facial treatment yesterday, but I spent the time doing it myself.”
She also shared her plan for children.
“I’m not young, so I’ll do my best as long as my body allows me,” said Jang. “It’s patriotism.”
Jang refrained from making any comments about her family troubles. Prior to her recent appearance on SBS talk show “Healing Camp,” pre-interview documents were leaked to the public with answers about her financial troubles with her mother, brother and other relatives. Jang’s mother and brother even went on to a cable channel talk show to rebut comments made by Jang on the matter.
The couple registered as legally married in May prior to the wedding. Many fellow singers congratulated the newlyweds by singing at the wedding. The groom also prepared a song for the bride to wish them a happy journey together.
