KAL and SK Telecom to offer communications to touristsKorean Air Lines, the nation’s largest air carrier, and SK Telecom, the nation’s top mobile carrier, have teamed up to provide mobile services for tourists.
The two companies signed a business deal yesterday at SK Telecom headquarters in Seoul to cooperate in marketing and promotion.
The companies will first release a roaming service package called “Korean Air Excellent T Roaming” next Monday. Those who use the service can get 100 minutes of voice calls, send 100 text messages and have unlimited data use for five days for 59,000 won ($51.58).
The companies will also offer the “Excellent Boarding Pass Program,” which gives a 50 percent discount on cell phone leasing programs for those who come to Korea.
