LG holds LA event to showcase new ultra HD TVs
LG Electronics said yesterday it held an event to introduce its 65-inch and 55-inch ultra HD TVs in Los Angeles. The move was targeted at increasing its marketing of premium products in the United States.The Korean electronics company said it invited business partners and clients to the event held at the Video and Audio Center.
LG was the world’s first company to showcase an 84-inch Ultra HD TV last year. The ultra HD TV has a higher resolution than the full HD TV.
The retail price on the 65-inch ultra HD TV is $7,999.99, while the 55-inch is $5,999.99.
