SK Encar offers three-month guarantee on flood damage
SK Encar, the nation’s largest used car dealer, said yesterday it is offering a special compensation program regarding purchases of flood-damaged cars until the end of October.The company said that if its customers find that vehicles have sustained flood damage within three month of purchase, it will refund 100 percent of the car’s price and give an additional 1 million won for compensation, including registration fees.
SK Encar said the company checks its used vehicles in 105 categories over 18 stages, so there is limited chance of finding flood damage to its inventory.
The company also is offering a used car guarantee service for those who are about to sell their cars. Depending on the car size, the company will check the history of used cars at a cost of 70,000 won to 200,000 won.
