Samsung C&T gets Singapore subway construction contractSamsung C&T, the construction arm of Samsung Group, said yesterday it won a $225 million order from Singapore’s Land Transport Authority to build a subway line. The company said that it will construct Thomson Line 213, which includes a transfer station and a 379-meter (1,243-foot) line in the Caldecott area. It is expected to be completed by December 2020.
