Chevrolet Trax named safest of five new vehicles testedGM Korea’s small sport utility vehicle, the Chevrolet Trax, was selected as the safest car among five new vehicles released in this first half, according to data from the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport.
The ministry said the Trax earned an overall score of 93.5 points out of 100 in the Korean New Car Assessment Program. Kia Motors’ compact K3 also earned a first-class rating with 84.8 points, while Hyundai Motor’s Avante Coupe and Sonata Hybrid, and Nissan’s Cube got the second-class ratings.
The Trax, which was released in February, received five stars in all five crash test areas.
