Halla Meister adds U.S. firm to its auto parts network

Halla Meister, an auto part distributor under the Halla Group, said yesterday it acquired the U.S. firm One Stop Parts Source, boosting its global sales network. The exact price of the deal was not disclosed, but industry sources estimated it is worth $16 million.

One Stop Parts Source has auto parts distribution networks in California and Colorado, and contracts with about 5,000 repair companies across the country, the company added.

Halla Meister is in charge of distribution for Mando, Korea’s secondlargest auto parts manufacturer. The company previously distributed auto parts to the U.S. after-sales market via its affiliate Uriman.
