Seungri’s song gets personal“GG Be” is more than just the latest single for Seungri, a member of the K-pop group Big Bang. According to the singer, the song stems from a real-life dating experience of his.
Seungri made the revelation on his Facebook account on Monday, as he explained his soon-to-be-released single.
“Frankly speaking, this song is about stories I have gone through,” he wrote. “It is not just women who get deceived by men. We now live in a generation where men also get deceived by women.”
He said the song is about the emotions he felt while dating a girl who used to lie all the time.
“It was quite shocking for me when I was realizing that she was lying and I felt so angry and miserable,” said Seungri.
“The piano sound in the introduction reflects that despair and anger.”
He also added a warning to the mysterious lady he used to date, saying she will pay a price for what she did to him.
