Kim Jung-eun conditionally returnsActress Kim Jung-eun, famous for the SBS drama “Lovers in Paris,” is returning to TV with a new drama scheduled to air toward the end of this year, according to yesterday’s local media reports.
Kim has been chosen to play the lead character in a drama tentatively titled “Conditions to Love,” directed by Lee Hyung-min, of KBS’s “I’m Sorry, I Love You.”
“The drama is planned to present a new take on melodramas,” said an official related to the drama’s production team, according to reports.
“As our lead characters need to show a lot of their inner selves, we debated who to cast,” said the officials. “We decided to offer the role to Kim because of her variety of acting experiences.”
More details about the production reportedly need to be determined still.
It has been nearly a year since Kim appeared in a TV drama, since KBS’s “Ohlala Couple” with actor Shin Hyun-joon went off the air.
