‘K-Pop Star 2’ contestant signs with agency

Lee Mi-rim, former contestant of SBS’ survival audition program “K-Pop Star 2,” signed with a newly established agency to prepare for her debut as a singer.

Lee competed with other contestants as part of the girl group YouU during the program.

She was the third to sign with an agency following members Jun Min-joo and Song Ha-ye.

“I’m excited to be on stage soon as I landed in the agency,” said Lee.

The agency, GH Entertainment, is formed by officials who had previously worked with singer Kara, boy group U-Kiss and entertainer Eun Ji-won.

“We expect her to add some power to a girl group the company is currently preparing [to launch] because she has her own charm and positive energy,” said Lee Hyo-young, the president of the agency.
