Rapper blasts former label

E-sens, the former member of the hip-hop duo Supreme Team whose contract was canceled last month, is responding to the cancelation angrily and in rhyme.

The rapper released the song “You Can’t Control Me” through his Twitter account yesterday, using it to slam his former partner Gecko and his former agency Amoeba Culture, for the group’s failures . The song also focuses on the failures of hip-hop in Korea in general.

“The company cuts your ankles, then gives you crutches,” E-sens rapped in his new song.

“If I listen to them well, then they give me a wheelchair.”

E-sens also accused the company of trying to take credit for his success, then he asked Gecko to respond to his rap.

“You should answer after taking a listen to this song, and don’t try to deny what you have done to me over the past five years at the company,” E-sens said.

In the new song, he also said that this could be a good chance for other serious rappers to rise up and make themselves heard, as music labels are just interested in artists who are “stupid” or “cowards.”
