‘All kill’ for ex-Wonder Girl

Sunmi, former member of the K-pop group Wonder Girls, topped all the major local music charts yesterday with her solo debut, “24 Hours,” achieving the so-called “all kill” status.

To support Sunmi, who once was the youngest member of the Wonder Girls before leaving in 2010, the group posted congratulatory messages on their social network services.

“Our Mimi is the best! All Kill!” tweeted Wonder Girl Ye-eun, referring to Sunmi’s nickname.

“24 Hours,” which was written and produced by Park Jin-young, founder of JYP Entertainment, is about a woman’s desire to spend more time with the man she loves.

The song is also proving to be popular overseas as it shot to No. 2 on the iTunes’s singles chart for Thailand and is already on the charts in Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong and Taiwan.
