Veteran actresses to share life experiences on new show

Broadcaster KBS introduced its new entertainment show “Mamado,” which will feature four local veteran actresses, yesterday.

Kim Young-ok of the KBS drama “Ruby Ring” and “Chuno,” Kim Yong-rim of the KBS drama “You’re the Best, Lee Soon-shin,” Kim Soo-mi of the SBS drama “The King and I,” and the youngest Lee Hyo-chun of the SBS drama “Jang Ok Jung” will be regular members on the show.

Meanwhile, the production team has strongly denied any rumors that its new show is just the female version of cable channel tvN’s show “Grandpas Over Flowers,” which has recently garnered popularity.

“The show is not focused on making things entertaining from the trips the veteran actresses are going to take,” said the team. “It will focus on telling insightful stories that come from their experiences in the a
cting industry.”
