“The agency, the group’s members and their families are all doing well,” said a spokesman for JYP Entertainment. “The group’s contract renewal will be addressed naturally, when its time.”
Rumors about the future of the Wonder Girls have been swirling since the group’s leader Sunye got married in January. Furthering those rumors, the label’s contracts with Yeeun, Yubin and Sohee are reportedly due to expire by the end of this year or early next year.
“Any decision will be made only by the Wonder Girls, not by the company or anyone else,” said the JYP official.
