Lee Hyo-ri not marrying yet
Management for singer Lee Hyo-ri is denying media reports that the singer could get married on Jeju Island as early as today.“It is not true that they will get married on Aug. 31st. About everything else, we have no comment,” said a spokesman for B2M, her agency, according to local media reports.
Lee and her fiance, composer Lee Sang-soon are having a small cottage built for them on the island.
Lee Sang-soon’s father was quoted by local media as saying that with construction nearly complete the couple would tie the knot this weekend in a small, family-only ceremony.
Despite being one of Korea’s biggest stars, Lee Hyo-ri surprised many with her announcement earlier in the summer that she would get married in a small wedding ceremony. Korean celebrities typically hold very large, lavish weddings.
Since her announcement, several other celebrities who are getting married have also said they plan on holding more modest weddings.
