India VW executive takes the wheel of Volkswagen in Korea

Audi Volkswagen Korea said yesterday that Thomas Kuehl, former director of corporate strategy at Volkswagen Group Sales India, will be the managing director and CEO of the Volkswagen brand in Korea.

Former CEO Park Dong-hoon, who had been with the German brand since 2005, moved to Renault Samsung Motors as chief of the sales unit last month.

Audi Volkswagen Korea said Kuehl has experience in emerging and developed markets in parts and logistics, and sales and marketing. He joined Volkswagen Group in 1995.

He was head of marketing, strategy and research at Volkswagen Mexico and led sales and marketing at Skoda Sales India.
