국내 기술로 건조된 한국의 첫 번째 상륙함, 천왕봉의 진수 기념식이 9월 11일 부산 영도구 한진 중공업 조선소에서 열렸다. 4900톤 급인 이 배는 지리산 정상의 이름에 따라 명명됐다.
