Busker Busker’s 2nd dominates charts
Light-rock band Busker Busker is back on top, as the nine songs on the group’s second album raced to the top of the local music charts yesterday as soon as they were released in the early morning.“We did not expect to see such good results, and we are very thankful for the attention and care,” an official affiliated with the group said to local media.
Busker Busker’s second album, titled “Busker Busker 2nd Album,” was released just after midnight yesterday, instead of later in the day like many other groups, as the band thought their music was a good fit for the wee hours of the morning.
As usual, the trio is doing things in their own unique way, foregoing most TV appearances and instead concentrating on a concert tour to promote its sophomore release. A nationwide tour begins next week in Busan, then continues in Daegu on Oct. 20 and Seoul on Nov. 1 and 2.
