S-Oil gives 160,000 liters of fighter fuel to Air ForceS-Oil yesterday donated 160,000 liters (42,267 gallons) of fuel for fighters worth 150 million won ($140,000) to the Air Force ahead of Armed Forces Day. S-Oil became the first company to donate jet fuel to the Air Force.
CEO Nasser Al-Mahasher yesterday visited the Air Force headquarters at Gyeryongdae, a military base, in South Chungcheong, and promised Air Force Chief of Staff Sung Il-hwan he would donate the fuel. The donated jet fuel will be used for the T-50 and other fighters.
The company also promised to donate 20 million won in scholarships to the Hanulsarang Scholarship Foundation for the children of fallen Air Force pilots
