Celebrities are continuing to use new online slander regulations to go after online commentators who spread nasty rumors or make ugly comments about them.

The latest to take action is singer Baek Ji-young, who is suing several netizens who made comments online about her recent miscarriage.

Baek, who married actor Jung Suk-won in June, lost her baby soon after the wedding, when she was four-months pregnant.

But some people online made comments that the miscarriage was her fault because she is a smoker.

The police traced the IP addresses of the commenters and used other tracking measures to identify six people.

Only one person has reportedly come in for questioning, and that person is denying the accusations.

Baek is scheduled to appear on the SBS talk show “Healing Camp” Monday to talk about her life since the miscarriage.
