Japanese company will build chemical plant

Toray Industries, a Japan-based chemical company, will invest 300 billion won ($280 million) to build a plant in Saemangeum Industrial Complex in North Jeolla, the company said yesterday.
Toray said it will build a plant on 21,500 square meters (231,424 square feet) of land in the industrial complex that can produce polyphenylene sulphide?(PPS) resin and high-performance engineering plastic using PPS compounds.
