S-Oil donates $185,000 in fuel for Food Bank vehicles

S-Oil, the nation’s third-largest refiner, yesterday donated 200 million won ($185,000) in fuel to the Korea National Council on Social Welfare. The fuel will be used for vehicles of Food Bank, a free food-sharing project for underprivileged people. The company’s donation will be delivered to 100 food banks in farming and fishing villages.

Food Bank is a nonprofit, charitable project in which the welfare council supplies welfare facilities and low-income families with food donated by companies and individuals.
