Yesterday was the day tens of thousands of young Koreans took the College Scholastic Ability Test, hoping to make it into the best university possible, and teenage K-pop stars were no exception.
Kim Nam-joo of the girl group A Pink took the test in Geumcheon, southwestern Seoul.
“I’m getting more nervous as I get in front of the school,” she said before going in to take the test.
“But I felt the support of the many people who showed their encouragement, so I think now I need to focus well and take the test.”
She also said she couldn’t sleep the night before because she was so nervous.
Nam-joo turned up for the CSAT carrying a boxed lunch that a fellow member of her group made for her.
Other idols taking the test yesterday included Sung-jae of BTOB, Hyewon of Five Dolls, and Kwangmin, Youngmin and Minwoo of Boyfriend.
