Retailers association plans its first industry weekThe Distribution Industry Association, chaired by Lee Seung-han and Jin Byung-ho, said yesterday it will hold its first retail industry week for four days starting Thursday.
There will be various events such as discount promotions, product exhibitions and policy seminars in order to promote shared development and unity between large and small retailers.
Participating businesses will include Nonghyup (National Agricultural Cooperative Federation), convenience stores, department stores, franchise stores, E-Mart, Homeplus and Lotte Mart and super supermarkets Lotte Super and GS Retail.
