KBS to reveal ‘1 Night 2 Days’ updateKBS will reveal today how it is going to change its entertainment show “1 Night 2 Days” before it launches its third season.
The tentative plan was scheduled to be announced Friday, but KBS decided at the last minute to take more time to review the changes.
“The concept of season 3, the member lineup and other basic information were to be announced [Friday], but after having more discussions, we have decided to make the official announcement [today],” an official at KBS said on Friday.
There has been speculation that many of the current members, including singer Sung Si-kyung and Kim Jong-min, are stepping down from the show. Rumors of changes in the cast have been rampant since KBS began its regular reshuffle for the fall season in the past few months.
KBS decided to make an official announcement as there have been too many reports stating rumors about the show’s future.
Last week, one report said members of season 1, including Kang Ho-dong, may return for season 3, but Kang has denied that rumor.
Meanwhile, the network plans to start filming for season 3 beginning Nov. 22.
