Taihan Electric Wire reports contracts worth $42 million

Taihan Electric Wire said it secured $42 million in orders for electric cables for projects in the Middle East and Kazakhstan.

The nation’s second-largest cable maker said it first won a $32 million order from Kuwait for a project in the Shadadiya region. In the United Arab Emirates, Taihan said it bagged a $6 million contract for the expansion of electric power lines in Dubai. In Kazakhstan, the company inked a $4 million deal to supply 500-kilovolt cables for a thermal power plant.
