Santa Fe, Accent, Soul win Residual Value Awards in U.S.

Hyundai Motor Group said yesterday three of its cars won the 2014 Residual Value Awards given by Automotive Lease Guide (ALG).

Since 1964, the U.S. guide has been evaluating vehicles’ value three years after their purchase, considering price, quality and brand recognition.

Korea’s largest automaker said its Santa Fe was chosen in the midsize utility vehicle category, while the Accent won in the subcompact car category.

Kia Motors’ Soul received the honor in the subcompact utility vehicle category. The Soul became the first Kia model to win a Residual Value Award.
