LG U+ launches bigger cable packages, adding 23 channels

LG U+ said yesterday that it is launching a new Internet Protocol TV service, which will offer 149 channels for 14,000 won ($13.19) per month.

A more basic service already provides 126 channels at 9,900 won a month. The U+tv G 14 will offer 23 of the 50 most popular premium channels to that service for 4,100 won more.

The company said it has opened another IPTV service, called U+tv G 25, which provides 153 channels at 24,900 won per month.
