Steering problem forces recall of GM’s Damas, Labo models
The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport said yesterday that it has ordered GM Korea to recall its Damas minivans and Labo trucks.The ministry said that 1,129 units of the Damas and 717 units of the Labos that were produced between May 1 and June 6 could have a possible steering problem due to gear friction on steering control parts.
Owners of these models can get a free repair at GM Korea’s repair shops nationwide.
