Drama star Jung Ryeo-won hosts arts TV show
Actress Jung Ryeo-won of the MBC drama “Medical Top Team” will be the solo MC for a new television arts program called “Art Star Korea” on cable channel On Style.The program, which is scheduled to start in March, will invite experts in the arts regardless of their age, gender or academic background. The experts will compete to win money to develop their dreams and support their art careers.
Artists and experts specializing in any genre are invited to compete on the survival program.
Jung is also known for using her spare time to paint and has been working as an honorary ambassador for the Seoul Museum of Art in Jung District, central Seoul.
“As the [program] is about a genre that I have always paid attention to, I think I will enjoy filming the show,” she said. “I will strive to provide a reason for the public to love the arts more.”
