Daesung Skype streamlines payment system for foreigners
Daesung Skype said yesterday it has upgraded its website so that foreigners can make payments without installing the ActiveX program. The company said the English, Chinese and Japanese versions of its website will no longer require ActiveX. The software, which is widely used in Korea, has been criticized by foreigners because it was cumbersome to install and works only with Microsoft Windows.
