A master of pine

테스트

Heo Kil-yang, a master of wooden Buddhist sculpture, is holding his second exhibition in 12 years. The 60-year-old Heo began learning the genre when he was 15. He uses Korean pine, which is believed to preserve its form for more than a thousand years. Heo never resorts to using sandpaper in order to retain the particular texture of the tree. The exhibition is being held at the Hangaram Art Museum of the Seoul Arts Center in Seocho District, southern Seoul, and runs until Thursday. Provided by the organizer
